Recently, the official images of the 2026 Lexus LC500 Convertible were released. Tailored for the North American market, the new model introduces several configuration upgrades and pricing adjustments. The overseas price is set at $109,200 (approximately ¥783,800), marking a modest increase of $800 from the previous version. Notably, the 2026 LC 500 also debuts the "Inspiration Series," a limited edition capped at 350 units exclusively for North America.
Exterior-wise, the new LC500 offers an expanded palette of 8 paint options. Orange and dark green are available at no extra cost, while other colors incur an additional fee ranging from $500 to $590. The convertible soft-top comes in desert yellow, black, and two bespoke colors—red and blue—each commanding a premium of $6,155.
The highlight, however, is the Inspiration Series. Translated as the "Luxury Inspiration Series," it distinguishes itself with a custom silver paint paired with a brown soft-top. When retracted, the convertible top reveals an exclusive badge on the dashboard. This variant is lavishly equipped with full-body heated seats, a heated steering wheel, Mark Levinson audio system, special door sill plates, and blacked-out exterior accents. It also features aerodynamic side vents on the front bumper, a rear stabilizer bar, and a limited-slip differential (LSD). Optional enhancements include carbon fiber trim and 21-inch forged black wheels. Inside, the cabin showcases saddle tan and white semi-aniline leather, a departure from the standard red, black, and caramel options.
Under the hood, the LC500 retains its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 471 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the powertrain remains unchanged. Notably, the hybrid 500h variant has been discontinued due to poor sales and Lexus' focus on developing the "LFR," a successor to the LC that may launch as a 2027 model with a twin-turbo V8 engine.
