Li Auto i6 Range Details Revealed: Up to 720 km CLTC, Launching in September​

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the 19th Catalog of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempt from Vehicle Purchase Tax. According to the disclosed information, the range specifications of Li Auto's new all-electric mid-to-large SUV—the Li i6—have been revealed. The model will offer three range options—660 km, 710 km, and 720 km—depending on weight and configuration, all powered by an 87.3 kWh battery pack. It is reported that the new vehicle is set to officially launch in September.


Previously released details indicate that the Li i6 is positioned as a five-seat mid-to-large SUV, adopting the brand's latest i-series family design language, balancing sportiness with spaciousness. The model comes standard with a next-generation 5C lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, capable of adding 500 km of range with just a 10-minute charge. Buyers can choose between a single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version.

In terms of exterior design, the Li i6 features split-style headlights, with a signature halo-style LED light strip positioned below the windshield. The main headlight clusters are integrated into the side air intakes of the front bumper, while a large central cooling vent dominates the lower section. Additionally, the model adopts a two-tone paint scheme with a contrasting roof.

According to earlier MIIT filings, the vehicle measures 4,950 mm in length, 1,935 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It will be available with either 20-inch or 21-inch alloy wheels. Built on an 800V high-voltage pure electric platform, the Li i6 is equipped with in-house developed silicon carbide (SiC) motors. The all-wheel-drive variant features a 150 kW front motor and a 250 kW rear motor, while the rear-wheel-drive version is powered by a single 250 kW motor.
