BEIJING ARCFOX S3's 650km All-Electric Range Details Leaked, Official Launch Expected This Year

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 19th Catalog of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempt from Vehicle Purchase Tax. According to the catalog, the BAIC Arcfox S3 will be equipped with battery packs of multiple specifications, including 51.8/52.9/64.8/65.8 kWh, and will offer two driving ranges: 550 km and 650 km. It is reported that the BAIC Arcfox S3 is expected to launch within this year.

Looking back at the new model, the Arcfox S3 adopts a more modern and youthful design philosophy. The full-width LED light cluster, combined with a closed front grille and an inverted trapezoidal cooling vent, gives the car a sportier appearance. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,840 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,875 mm. Its curb weight is 1,630 kg, gross weight is 2,005 kg, and it has a seating capacity of five.

Additionally, the car will come with two tire specifications—215/55R17 and 215/50R18—paired with low-drag alloy wheels. Its front track is 1,645 mm, rear track is 1,650 mm, approach angle is 14 degrees, departure angle is 18 degrees, and front/rear overhangs measure 910/1,055 mm. Powering the vehicle is a single electric motor with a maximum output of 150 kW, offering two range options—550 km and 650 km—depending on the variant.
