Official Images of New MG4 EV Released: Pre-orders to Start on August 5, Expected to Launch on September 5

On July 9th, we obtained the official images of the new MG4 EV, a compact sedan under SAIC MG, from the official MG brand. As the first model in MG's new energy strategy, the new MG4 will also be the first to feature the MG × OPPO intelligent vehicle-machine interconnection system. Meanwhile, according to previous information, the car will start pre-orders on August 5th and is expected to be launched on September 5th.  

In terms of appearance, the car adopts a closed front grille and inherits the independent headlight design from the MG Cyberster, resulting in a high overall recognition. Additionally, the addition of a segmented air intake at the bottom and导流槽 on both sides enhances the sporty feel. In terms of color options, the car introduces the "Donglai Purple" body color, which combines metal and pearlescent paint technology, offering an impressive visual effect.  

From the side view of the car body, the overall lines are very smooth, and the short front/rear overhang design is adopted, making the body shape and proportions more coordinated and also enhancing the sporty feel. At the same time, the car is equipped with a new set of dual five-spoke rims. At the rear, the car features a through-type taillight cluster, paired with an exaggeratedly shaped spoiler above, creating a rich visual layering.  

According to the official statement, as the first model of MG's "All in New Energy" initiative, the all-new MG4 will be the first to be equipped with the MG × OPPO intelligent vehicle-machine interconnection system. It integrates new functions such as mobile voice vehicle preparation, mobile-vehicle application integration, mobile-vehicle seamless interconnection, mobile phone shake-to-navigate, full ecosystem onboarding, and AI intelligent integration. It will take the lead in realizing all of OPPO's capabilities in vehicle-machine interconnection, covering most of users' daily car usage scenarios.
