Recently, a set of official images of the rumored all-new Jeep Compass was leaked online. The new vehicle is positioned as a compact SUV and will offer pure electric, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. It is expected to be released later in 2025.
Exterior Design:
The new model retains Jeep's iconic seven-slot grille, which appears to be sealed and purely decorative. It features a row of seven LED light strips above the grille, while LED headlights are placed on both sides, giving the front end a futuristic look. The lower front section may adopt an active air intake that closes when not in use to reduce drag. Additionally, the new Compass is expected to come in two front-end designs, distinguished by their lower bumpers, with the white version possibly being the high-performance Trailhawk off-road variant.
Side Profile:
The new model has a compact and muscular silhouette with a raised chassis, suggesting strong off-road capability. It features blacked-out A, B, and C-pillars along with a black roof design to lower the visual center of gravity. The rear is equipped with through-type taillights featuring an "X" motif, while the rear bumper has a rugged design.
Interior Features:
The cabin will house a large dual-screen setup and adopt a black-and-gray dual-tone color scheme. The seats are expected to feature the Jeep logo and X-shaped stitching. Other amenities include a panoramic sunroof, HUD (Head-Up Display), and a rotary gear selector.
Powertrain Options:
The new Compass will be built on the STLA Medium platform, shared with the Peugeot 3008, and will offer three powertrain options: pure electric, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. For reference, the Peugeot e-3008 is equipped with a dual-motor setup delivering 325 horsepower and comes with 73kWh and 97kWh battery options. The mild hybrid version is expected to use a 1.2-liter three-cylinder PureTech gasoline engine, while the plug-in hybrid variant will likely feature a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine.
